[so, try as he might, archie is still having a bit of trouble with getting used to and figuring out how to care for his electrode. the thing looks relatively happy and doesn't seem to be having any of the sort of problems archie is, but... maybe isn't good enough for him. he wants perfect for his pokémon, or he'll give it away to someone who can care for it.

yellow has all kanto pokémon, as well as having a kanto fossil pokémon. archie figures... maybe she's from kanto? electrode is kanto (even if his was caught in hoenn, nice logic idiot) so maybe she'll know. or maybe her pokédex will have information on it. he should ask may, too...

he starts off with text, as he usually does. it feels less intrusive than a voice.]

i'm no electric type trainer... i'm worried i'm trying to care for him the way i would my water or poison types. i don't really know how to deal with him.
can i bring him to meet your pikachu? i think knowing other electric types would help him.

and... can i read his entry on your dex? please

It might take some time before there's any data on the Pokedex for him, though. The data got wiped before, so now all it has are my own Pokemon.

[he could've asked may or anabel - they also have electric types and specialise in more than one type, but... part of him wants to make up for the damage this other him caused yellow. not to mention he doesn't like the idea of there being blocks between the trainers who're in verens. they need to stick together for their pokémon, if nothing else.]

how does it work, don't you just scan them and there's already information on it?
did the entire memory card get ruined?

No, not really...
It scans data from being around the Pokemon.
But when Team Rocket stole them, and Professor Oak upgraded them, all of the previous data was wiped...
My Pokedex was originally Red's.

these are confusing... pokégear is easier to use

[aside from not being from a town with a professor, archie's actually pleased he didn't have to deal with a pokédex while he was on his journey. sounds like a lot of hassle.]

a lot happened recently-- i was made very harshly aware that this world is not our own.
it would be nice to know you have somewhere
trust me i get wanting to stay in the forest or be nomadic
i don't mind paying rent for a place if you'd rather stay else where

Omny is helping Gravvy with his water resistance training.
And everyone else is encouraging him!
I don't know how well it'll work, but Gravvy's really pumped up about it!
