[Rather than responding with words, she just... sends an image of where she is? Complete with her tent, a small campfire, and her Pokemon all rolling around happily.]

[it comes through as a thought, instead of a text. it's prety clear he hadn't meant to send that one.

anyway, archie flies over on crobat, recognising the area, and has it drop him off nearby. crobat hops forward towards yellow - no anger this time - and chirps a hello, before taking off and settling in a nearby tree.

archie raises a hand, waving awkwardly.]

[She just laughs a little.

When Archie arrives, Yellow waves back. Her Golem is rolling around, and her Omastar and Pikachu are curling up to try to roll like Golem.]

Hello, Crobat! And Archie... I'm glad you found me so easily.

I'm startin' to figure out this area. Crobat saw you first, though.

[he raises a shoulder in a shrug, crossing his arms.]

[She nods, and looks at him. The area around them seems to become a bit colder- Not out of fear, but out of seriousness.]

... If I tell you... Can you promise that it will remain secret? You won't tell anyone else?

You trust me enough to tell me, [he says cocking his head.] it's only fair I return the favour by doing so. I won't tell anyone.

[Yellow nods, and...

She takes off her hat, letting her ponytail fall and sway in the breeze.]

[he blinks. her ponytail continues swaying.

archie blinks again.]

... When I set out on my journey, I was told to pretend to be a boy. Because enemies wouldn't be able to figure out who I am that way.

I've been treating this place the same way. I don't trust this place, or the reasons we've been brought here.

[he nods, understanding finally flickering across his face.]

I don't blame you. There's a lot here that's highly suspect, and I'd imagine people like me bein' different from what you know only stokes that fire.

[it also shows how much she must've come to trust him, given she'd accused him of murder (which still turns his stomach to think about) a couple of months ago. he's not really sure what to think about that.]

It's because you're a kind person. I don't understand a lot of the differences between what happened in our different homes, but I can tell that you're a good person.

[he's not crying HE'S NOT CRY ING archie furiously scrubs his face for no reason bc he's definitely not emotional.]

My powers... You know some of them. I can hear the hearts and thoughts of Pokemon, and I can heal wounds of Pokemon and people. I can move some small objects just with my mind. And...

When I get angry... My Pokemon and I, our spirits synchronize, and they become much more powerful. My anger becomes their power.

[he nods, listening, mentally filing all this away. he doesn't want to have to call on her if the situation needs it, but yellow's clearly more than capable.]

So... I don't like being angry. I don't want to influence my Pokemon with that sort of thing.

Guzma. He says he wants to attack people who get in his way, and he's a cruel person.

[archie nods-- he'd had a good time with guzma, personally, but he isn't surprised to hear of that.]

[she doesn't seem terribly happy about that, though?]
